National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade
(April 4; 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.; Constitution Ave. from 7th to 17th Streets N.W.)
The traditional National Cherry Blossom Parade, which runs along the length of Constitution Avenue, is a full on festival of lights and sounds. Performances include marching bands, appearances by Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek, American Idol finalist Kimberley Locke, Broadway’s Chicago belting out “All That Jazz” and the cast of Mamma Mia! performing “Dancing Queen”. This free event is not to be missed!
Cherry Blossom Festival Cultural Performances

Cherry Blossom Festival Fireworks
(April 10; 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.; Tidal Basin; 600 Water St.)
As a festive end to the fourteen day National Cherry Blossom Festival, music, food, and a breath-taking display of fireworks will be set off at the Tidal Basin. Be sure to check out this fun event!
