Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial
The Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial was dedicated on May 2, 1997. Sculptures depict 12 years of history regarding the United States during Roosevelt’s four terms in office, including the Great Depression and his “fireside chats”. The Memorial was designed by Lawerence Halprin and is apart of the National Mall and Memorial Parks.
Walk through the memorial with your tour guide on the DC It All! Tour and see one of Washington DC’s most interesting monuments. The FDR Memorial is open year round except for Christmas Day.
